Toad huntin' anyone? I sighted a BIG pink toad squattin' on my floor! I shooted it...wif an xtra few drops for good measure. Actually I upped it to a solid 2.75 to try to eat some of this extra sweet he has today. Not sure WHY either...he didn't get into kibble nor MC/HC as far as I know. I'm out of strips for my Relion until Tuesday so am using other meters that Paige sent to me. The strips are expired but they still seem to work well enough for me to be sure he's safe. The first test this morning was with a new container of Beyer Contour strips, the second one was using a 'OneTouch'. I thought the first one was hokey but when the other meter handed me what was expected with that 299 and a food spike, I guess it WAS right....
QUESTION: ScruffyKitty (civie) Congestive Heart Failure - Scruffy has started licking his front legs and chest over and over and over, sometimes for minutes at a time. I noticed him sitting meatloaf for a bit yesterday but not for long. I also notice him laying on his side much more often than his usual tummy sprawl. Anyone know what these things are telling me? I've learned SO much since we arrived here last June....I didn't even know that meatloafing potentially meant pain!
