Hi all, one more shave tomorrow to .05 and I think that's the lowest I can go. Or I can do one more week of just the drop that's in the needle when I push the plunger hard. (??)

I'm not totally loving his AMPS all the time, but you keep assuring me that he's ok like this so I guess we'll see if it's going to stick!

Sorry I've not gotten my condos up this week. Simon is boring in a good way--kind of predictable--and I don't feel like I need to test all the time anymore. It was the last week of school for my kiddos. I am now mom to a second grader :o, a kindergartener, and a 2yo. Why does 2nd grade sound so old?

We went out to Carry the Load today. One of my friends co-founded this 20-hour Memorial Day event honoring and thanking members of the military, law enforcement, firefighers and their families for the sacrifices they make. People walk or run as long or as little as they can in the 20-hour period . . . some choose to carry weighted packs. It was a fun time!

Simon's SS is looking good. I'd give him as much time on insulin as you can shoot. I do think at least one spot check per cycle would help us know what's going on, though.

So---is it better to just stay at .1 while he's in normal numbers and not earning it? Or is the shave the thing to do? I will do better on my tests tomorrow. . . lazy bean ;-)

You've been at this dose for a week. If you think you can shave a bit more, then I'd do it. If you think you can't, maybe it's time to start a trial.
