Well THIS was a lovely surprise! 212 in the am! Good job Jonesybones! LOL (yeah . . . nickname)

So yesterday I started Vinnie on his new RX. No difference yet, but it's only been 12 hours. I can't honestly say the Jackson Galaxy stuff is working o_O But I'm using it faithfully, hell, I ended up paying almost $160 for it to finally be delivered (between the U.S. exchange rate, shipping, plus customs fees when it got here *face palm*) Fingers crossed . . .

Two weeks this coming Friday is my foot (bunion) surgery. I've got one friend who I will call upon when I need, but other than that, I don't like to inconvenience people. We'll see . . . I know I will have loads of friends who "offer", but you know how it is . . .

I'm not nervous about the actual being anesthetized, nor the pain. I'm nervous about not being able to take care of the cats properly. I'm to be ZERO weight bearing on my right foot for SIX WEEKS! Nothing, nada, don't even touch it to the floor . . . THAT should be interesting :(

Anyway, enough whining for now ;) LOL Take care everyone, have a great day.

Don't increase tomorrow, do a curve instead. You haven't done one for ages and haven't done enough mid cycle testing to know how low the dose is taking him. Plus you did get at least one nadir under 150.

Are you going to be able to get one of those little knee scooters to keep your foot elevated while you move about? Often the doc will prescribe one of those so you can at least go to the bathroom...although I've seen people use them for a lot more than that...

Try not to get too hung up about AM/PM high numbers - it's the mid-cycle numbers you've got to focus on - as Wendy suggested, please try to get a curve...let's find out what's really going on with this dose.

Okay, no increase. The next day I can get a curve would be Sunday.

I understand (sort of?) that the nadir numbers are the ones "that matter", but if the majority of the time he's up in the screaming pinks, is he safe? Even if he does go into the blues, don't I need to (and I HATE to use this term ;) ) "flatten the curve"?

Thank you Wendy!

Yes, I'll have one of those super stylin' (insert face palm ;) HA!) knee scooters. Plus I'll get a pair of crutches, PLUS I've already picked up a couple of second hand canes to have around the house.
