Happy Sunday! Our sympathy to Cathy and family as their Nola crossed the bridge. Healing vines to Rocket.
I'm not really sure what is going on with Gracie's BG. She fizzled on the f.75u so I added a hair using the calipers. When I had her recently on sk1u, she got below 40 in just a few cycles and I know there was no shed from a higher dose. She doesn't usually get NDW and there is so little difference between the f.75u and the f.85u I started yesterday. I'm befuddled. But I'll give it six cycles and then take her up more. My pen is not that old and it got her into the 40s the other day. So...scratching my head. These are definitely not Gracie numbers.
She seems to feel absolutely great....no more hairball pukus unless she's working on a major one that I don't know about. Nice poos. Vet called with bloodwork results and everything was great except her ALT is still a teeny bit elevated (109...normal goes to 100) but it has been for some time and also on and off her entire life. Vet thinks it might be normal for her to run a little over as there has never been any indication of any other issue. She did have me stop the Denamarin because Gracie tested very weak for it.....I can't imagine that the Denamarin could have any affect on her liver as far as bounces and BG goes. We've also stopped the cyclosporine for her eyes to see if that has been the cause of her elevated ALT and the eye vetty wanted me to wean her off of it slowly by the end of May. So.....I need to definitely wait six cycles before I take her up again.
I hope everyone has a great day. It's gorgeous here!!
