I guess I can stop feeling apprehensive before his test and know now that this 2.5 is doing just fine for him. It just feels funny because we were on 3 for so long.
Boris is being Boris today, was already on the table waiting for me this morning and now I'm lmao because Ok kitty is crying, Boris ate her breakfast! :lol:

Off to work, have to get the motel ready for the big weekend and I have a dreaded Dr. Appt today. Hopefully all body parts will be intact and Dr. Slick can find them. (old joke) :mrgreen:

Talked to the vet this morning and Boris is Hyper T. Vet is going to confer with IM vet at University to come up with a plan for heart meds for him. I talked to Jojo and she recommend getting him on Tapizole right away for the thyroid. The vet ordered some and it will be in next week. Thanks to my whining on face book other fdmb members suggested getting it at the pharmacy. Got it and will start tonight. I can't stand that I know he doesn't feel good and I'm pissed at myself for not taking him in sooner. I knew something was wrong because he was drinking so much water and he was sitting by me more then usual. Boris has always come to sit with me when he doesn't feel good, other wise he would sit with Eugene.
I'm sad that he is having multiple problems.

Was not a good day for me to have my bp checked between the Boris news and the brakes not working on my way to dr. apt, my bp was high. what a shi$$y day.
 
Getting older is just not for sissies! Just like the FD, the hyper-T is manageable. I do think it's cute that OK cried 'cause Boris ate her breffus.
 
Dont be sad Sandy--Boris just has some problems--But he will feel better soon under your loving care-- sending feel good Boris vibes, Hugs & healing vines !! Thankfully it can be treated..
 
I hope the doc was able to find everything this time. Frustrating when your body parts aren't where they are supposed to be.

Hyper-T is really common, I'm sure you have lots of company here.

Don't be pissed at yourself - you've had so much going on... and you still recognized that he was drinking more and needed to be checked.
Soooo many people wouldn't even notice those little nuances...
And now you got him checked and are taking care of things. That's you being a good mom - Boris is very fortunate to have you.
