Yesterday's Condo

Not sure what that 147 is about, but we are on day 24 of this pen (and we keep our active pen at room temp), so I will be keeping a close eye on that. Will probably stop at Costco tonight and pick up our next one so I can be ready to switch at any time.

Beautiful sunny day here today. Getting down to the wire on the closing date, especially with Monday being a holiday. There is one piece that may not fall into place... going to be cutting it really close. But the nice thing is, even if we have to bump back the closing a few days or even a week, all is still good.

Hey, guyz!!! It iz a bee-yoo-tee-full day here today! I haz an idea!! I was tinking dat if eberybuddy could come to KC today, maybe we could sneak into mah new house an' check it out!! De bean had to do a list of "unacceptable conditions" for de deal... maybe we could give one to her?!?! Like I saw on de puter yesterday dat de house has no windowsills!!! :shock: :shock: Not kewl!! Lemme know what u guyz tink! We could play some kitty croquet in de yard! De bean sez dat dere is a store down de street dat makes their own sausages!! An dey grill out on Saturdays!!! We will definitely have to check dat out at sum point!!! Just like de hot dog carts in NYC!!! Hope to see eberybuddy soon! --Willie

Chalk the 147 up to dawn effect, Willie is coming down nicely. Fingers and paws crossed that everything falls into place for the closing.

Kewl! You think the kitty doors are unlocked? My beans have got all sorts of boards and saws and stuff. Maybe we could make some windowsills and surprise your bean! :-D -- Tess

If I didn't have a friend with me when I brought Gabby back home, I would decidedly accuse myself of anthropomorphizing. Gizmo was literally bouncing of pieces of furniture and throwing himself on the floor and rolling on his back in front of Gabby. It was so clearly an, "I missed you. Where where you? I'm glad you're home." scenario that all we could do was laugh. Gizmo, for as much as he pesters Gabby, really adores him. I highly recommend a kitten! (Gizmo was raised with 8 siblings and 2 momma cats. He was used to having other cats around. I think it make a huge difference.)

I think Ann's right - this may be a bit of dawn phenomenon or maybe Willie is just stressing a bit over the move.

Hi guys .. I wouldn't worry about this number, it's still a beauty and he's already on his way down at +3 .. I hope that you guys don't have to bump back the closing date on your house .. I know it would not be a big deal but I am sure you guys are excited to move too .. have a great day!

Christie: FINALLY...two days after your return to LL, I get to your condo. Thanks for visiting ours. Work days are so impossible for me that even DH often has to do the condo but he's so much funnier than I am and Gracie's condo is more fun to read when he does it.

Williekins is looking fine today...nice blue and I bet he'll come back down into his greens. All done with the cyclosporine right? Everything ok on the skin issues?

I'm glad you are ok....I missed you and worried about you. I wonder if one of us should have a personal email or cell number for you so we can check in on you because we are nosy :lol: :lol: :lol: Kidding about the last part....just knew you had been sick. I'm glad you are better and things are moving full steam ahead for your move into your absolutely beautiful home. I can't believe it was built in 1941...it is pristine...perfect...move in ready. All you gotta do is decorate.

Just wanted to let you know what an important part of LL you are and we miss your fun, uplifting condos. I know in the ensuing weeks, you'll be really swamped. Just check in once in a while and let us know you and Willie are ok :-D :-D :-D Big hugs DUDE!!

Lookin' good, Willie! I can't wait to see your house and check out the sausage shop on the corner. Tell your mamabean to hurry and get to the closing. I've never played kitty croquet. Sounds like fun. And you've got to build some window sills, or get some bookcases under the windows to sit on.

Willie - I am so there!!! Sausages????? oh boy!!! And I could help Tess with the broads and the saws and stuff - we could really help out your bean with the no window sills thing. DUDE! You gotta have windowsills, ya know? I would lubs to help your bean with that list on bad stuff. Don't forget the firepit! oooooo - this will be so fun! We is on our way! ~~ Mannie.
 
Much better tonight! Willie dined outdoors on the fire escape tonight then we had sofa cuddles and watched tv. Heard from the realtor today... Dr. Seller (who, incidentally, I totally picture as Timothy Dalton) has agreed to all of our repair requests! Woo hoo! Now just need to get my down payment $ out of the hands of the bureaucrats running my retirement plan and we are set to close!

Am a bit concerned that I came home tonight to a pile of tools in the living room...willie had an odd grin as well....

We are off to bed! Goodnight everyone!
