Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, good test, good shot during breakfast (2 sittings), but then scarfed 'n barfed his breakfast. I fed the 2nd sitting too close to the first, I guess. Anyway, I waited a bit and gave him a little more food and then waited a bit more and gave him a little more, and he is fine. Will keep an eye on him today.
Edward has 2 doctor appointments today: the long awaited one with the orthopedist (shoulder issues) and the session with the chiropractor. So I'll be chauffeuring for the day, since one is this morning and the other this afternoon and both in Lake Placid (maybe I'll do some shopping there, or walking).

Back later. Everyone have a good day. Positive thoughts and healing vines for Tray, Rocket, Splitzie, and all kitties not feeling well.

Hi Ella, I hope Rusty is okay after the scarf and barf, maybe just eating too fast, hopefully is the issue. Thanks so much for your visits and support with Maggie's anesthesia issues and for the tip on Greek yogurt as a probiotic for Maggie. Good luck to Edward with the two doctors today with his shoulder. I just got done with shots and physical therapy for my left shoulder. It was a condition called adhesive capselitis, or frozen shoulder is the common term. I wish him well. I hope you can squeeze in some shopping and a walk. Have a nice day.

Sorry about the upset tummy, I hope it was just too much, too fast. Great numbers for a day out, although Rusty always has such reliable numbers. :-D

I hope you can have some fun shopping today.

Rusty, your beans are going out? We can come and chillax w/ you on the porches. They are so cool. -- Tess

Hi again,
Rusty is fine: no more vomit, so it must have been that he ate too much, too fast. He's had his lunch and is now chillaxing on the front porch, waiting for his friends.
One doctor down, the orthopedist (1 1/2 hour wait); nothing conclusive. He prescribed Aleve and some phys. therapy sessions (all of which we have been through before). (I told Edward that he should just live with it!! There's no arthritis, no bursitis, no anything; only pain!!!) Off to the chiropractor now. Back later.

Hi Everyone,
Rusty has had a green day! We had horrific thunderstorms with damaging rain and wind and tornado warnings in the late afternoon and lost power for about 1 1/2 hours. Rusty lay calmly on the couch through it all. What a great cat! We were just about to go into the cellar with our canoe bailer to bail out the sump pump's compartment in the floor (the pump, of course, needs electricity) when the lights came on again. Thank goodness! The storms and warnings are now in Vermont.
Before the storms we all had a nice hour in the garden and in the woods behind the barn. Rusty enjoyed sitting on the steps that go up to the 2nd story of the barn and just surveying the scene.

Off to visit some condos. Amazing how one misses electricity!!

What an incredible green day for Rusty!!! Glad the scarf and barf was an IO (isolated occurrence). Sounds like you all had a busy day!! Glad they didn't find anything wrong with Edward's shoulder but that doesn't help with the pain.

Sounds like you at least had one nice outdoor hour. Hope you have a reprieve from the storms and keep your lectricity!

Ella, so glad Rusty is feeling better, and it was probably eating too fast. I was wondering if the doctor ever ordered an MRI for Edward's shoulder? It would show everything. X-rays don' really show everything. I hope the chiropractor helps and also the pt. It must be hard living with that kind of pain. t sounds like you both had a very busy day. Hope you can get some rest if the storms allow.

Hi guys! WOW - what nice numbers for Rusty - green!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: love the pmps too. Sorry for the pukus in the morning - glad he is better. it does sound like a case of scarf and barf.

well bummer on the electricity! glad it wasn't out too long. what a joy huh. and - omg (!!) on the storms - it seems like there is just one after another. I do hope things lessen up soon. Nice though that it didn't seem to bother Rusty.

Sorry the edwards dr appt was inconclusive. that must have been frustrating.
