5/26 Observation about Jimmy's coat since insulin

I've noticed Jimmy has more dander since starting the insulin even though I'm giving him pumpkin and water in his food. Anyone else experience this? Prior to his insulin his coat was soft and very little dander. Esp since switching from FF to Nature's Instinct.

It is not uncommon for diabetic cats to have dandruff.
Better/low BG control should reduce the dandruff. A fish oil supplement should also help

I hope so. Better/low BG control hopefully equates to less insulin and a "back to normal" coat for him. Thanks.

This has happened with my kitty as well--it seems to be gradually improving.
