? 5/26 Celia AMPS 150, skipped, PMPS 242 (WTH?)

Can someone please tell me what this might mean? I never got my question answered yesterday & now after what just happened, I'm even more lost. How does she go from 150 AMPS (in which I skipped & was highly concerned because these 100 numbers & skipping are becoming a trend lately unfortunately since I can't stall after around 6am because of my schedule) to only 240 PMPS without having a shot this morning AND eating throughout the day today?? Well, I gave her 0.25U like someone advised here because it seems the 0.50 was starting to cause all of this.
Thanks.

She’s high because you skipped. I understand why but you need a dose you will feel comfortable shooting both cycles. As you gather data you will feel comfortable shooting lower and lower numbers and eventually shoot 90+.
Lantus is dosed based upon how low the cat goes and you only have amps and pmps bg for 7 days.
You are due for a curve and spot checks in between would help find out how low she’s going. Can you do a curve tomorrow?

Makes sense, thank you so much. I was going to (do a curve tomorrow or Mon.), but this morning her ears were so marred, she has nothing but red dots all over them not fully healed so I might have to delay it. I'm starting to wonder how much more they can take, given that they're not getting much time to heal. And easier said than done not pricking the same area twice, esp. with a fidgety cat and a bad memory. Ughhh

After each poke I hold my cat’s ear where I poked it with a cotton round. I press on both sides of the ear so the spot gets pressure. I do this until he stops bleeding. That helped with the bruising for me.

Thanks. Yeah, I'll try holding the cotton ball longer, but still not confident that'll be enough, given she has to get these at least twice a day, but better than nothing. I also immediately apply pet store cat wound spray to the wound with a qtip.

If his ears are looking beat up a lot of members put a dab of pure coconut oil on them
Here is what one member said
I have copied this from one of the members posts
just make sure the only ingredient is coconut oil (mine is solid at room temp and I would take an itty bitty dab and rub on his ears)
It seemed to help with the healing
You might be able to get it at a health food store or just Google pure coconut oil
