With the sudden lack of interest in food, the vet is thinking possible p-titus, amongst other possibilities. Are there any supplements that I can give that would help if he does have p-titus? Also, he is developing neuropathy... I know there is a supplement for that one, is it B-12?

Buster is now down, from 18 lbs to 15 lbs 2 oz.

Thanks!

Don't know what's going on with his numbers!

He was 300's ps's. Then we missed a pm shot (we were gone for the night). Now his numbers are all lower 200's and now blues!

I know I need to get more sc's... but could someone plz look at the ss and make sense of this kitty. He has lost quite a bit of weight... was 18 lbs in March, now 15 lbs. Maybe that is affecting the numbers? Crazy cat's gonna drive me to drink ~O)

I'm not sure what your question is... Buster is getting some nice blue now. I bet there is more of it in the evening, and that might explain the pink preshots if he's bouncing off of blue.

I don't know about supplements for pancreatitis. Most people here just treat the flares, I think, with fluids and pain meds. Some believe that a low fat diet is better, but there is some dispute about whether that is true so do your own research there.

I've not heard about supplements for pancreatitis. You might want to ask over on Health.

You want methyl-B12 for neuropathy. Regular B12 doesn't help. This is a source I've ordered from. The methyl-B12 is in capsule form and doesn't contain sugar. You just open the capsule and mix it into Buster's food.
