Evening, all! Didn't get a chance to post earlier because my "elder" graphics system at work decided to act a little jealous of the 'new' graphics system and flake out today. After 9 hours, no lunch, much gnashing of teeth, fingers rubbing temples...we finally appeased the green giant. Computers always know holidays are coming up, I'll tell ya!

In other household news, Abby is doing well. Hairball duty woke me up early but she's a happy camper. A nanner & newspapers in each room, a full belly and decent TV time with mamabean.

Hope everyone had a good day!

Sorry about TBP computer woes but Abby's numbers put a smile on everyone's faces!!!!

Have a great night!

Sienne - Sorry, I didn't see your post until now. I just gave her a lil LC. I have a question for ya though - I've seen this advice given to me and others before and I'm confused about the reasoning. Is the theory that the LC will slow any additional drop? Or that having some food in the belly helps train the pancreas to deal with food? I guess I'm mostly curious/confused about when/why to leave a "normal" number go versus supplement with LC? I'm not questioning the advice at all...just trying to learn

Hi Kristin,
I think Sienne suggested a bit of LC to slow the drop, since Abby had dropped so much so early in the cycle. When to feed or not feed depends partly on your cat's pattern....a few nights ago, Abby had similar numbers, and dropped into the 40s by +4. I bet she was thinking that if you gave a bit of LC at +2 (+3 worked too), it might prevent her from dropping that low, and keep her surfing in safe numbers instead.

I hope that helped.
