Good Morning LL! ~O) , and what an awesome one it is!

Yesterday's Condo

Not too bad of a start for Mannie today - sure beats the red 440 from yesterday morning. :-D Mannie put me to bed last night, snuggled up on my feet for a glorious 10 minutes. Woke me up this AM: him and his civvie BlackJack. Nothing like claws and glaring eyes to make sure one is awake. :shock: I think he wanted to make sure his bean wasn't taking off for another whole day hiking day. I didn't have the heart to tell him there will be another one Thursday.

WCR: off to a good morning. Mannie is out right now, surveying his turf, checking his route, making sure all is as it should be. Catnip toys have all been investigated: rolled in, sniffed, slobbered on, chew a little, slept on briefly. Normalcy this morning in mannie-land. cat_pet_icon

Hey Mannie, what no trampoline? Just a little mild pogo stick action, good boy. :thumbup Tess did join him briefly in Mannie land, but they seem to be coming back together today.

Stu - my man! Flowers are coming along nicely! I am going with the blue ones - my beans has a bunch she will let me harvest and bring, just in case our partners in crime don't have enough. You got those recipes ready? Are You cooking with flowers too? Yummmmmmmmmm. I love flowers. And keep up those great numbers, later dude! ~~ Mannie

Thanks Ella! It was a nice hike - crazy but nice. 9 hours t total drive time to squeeze in a 3 hour hike and make it back in time for Mannie.... And it worked - fancy that! Eastern Wa has such unique geology - lots of canyons and coulees sculpted from ice age action zillions of years ago. The wildflowers and butterflies yesterday were outstanding. not to mention the geology. Just very nice.

And Ann too - thank somebody that Mannie did not use his trampoline today. PHEW! Just as nice yellow surf. But I did forget to look for a pogo stick. - hmmmm, and new accessory tool. Well all our guys seem to be having a good day today. For Mannie a nice yellow surf - no complaints, no complaints, no complaints. :-D

Yep, I sure do dance! Stu has taught me some moves, too, and then I came up with the Kitty Krump. It hasn't really caught on yet, but I know it will. I'll teach you if you want. My bean adopted me and my brother, Cricket, when we were 2. My other beans gave me the name Buzz because they like the movie Toy Story. Silly beans, Buzz Lightyear is a boy and I am a girl. No wonder everyone is confused. I bet you can guess that Cricket is for Jiminy Cricket. Well, anyway, I also make a mean niptini and I am bringing lots of batches to the party. I will see you there!

Kitty Krump huh - YAY! I am so there. You can teach me, and then we can start a new trend. I was adopted from Paws when i was 4 - silly care-giving beans called me mannie because they thought i was a manx. i have this silly feather duster back there, no tail. I try to swish my tail, but nothing happens. bummer! I have two civvie sisters, Elsa and BlackJack. They were adoptees too. Elsa was in the cage next to me. BlackJack came from a grocery store. We tease her alot about that. Niptinis! YAY - between that and Stu's catmint parfaits it will be one great party! See you then! mannie

Yo Mannie, You'll love the dance steps Buzz does. She's really great on her feet. You can both be on the kitchen crew, but you have to work, ya know! Get there early! And don't sample too many niptinis before you have to cut up the chicken!

(p.s. I was adopted when I was 4 years old, too from ASPCA ; I had been returned twice. I knew the right beans would come along eventually, and they did.)

Stu - I hear that Buzz is da-BOMB. She says she will teach me the kitty krump - is it hard? I hope not - I'm such a lousy dancer. well, maybe a couple of niptinis will take care of that. YAY - I made the kitchen crew! WOOT! and wow - aspca huh? Paws for me - my person ( i can't even call them my bean) didn't want me anymore - but you're right! the right bean did come along. we're both really lucky! later dude! btw - i think i want to come down and join the CA/FL express beam kitties... you guys rock! and i don't know any BC kitties..... hardly know any pnw kitties - hey where are you guys! book me a seat on the beam Tess! oh what fun - never traveled on a beam before. This is cool.
