Re: 5/24 Tuscany AMPS~288

A yellow start for Tuscany...whew...that is good. Joyce, Raja is a very good caretaker for kitties at the party who should take it easy a little. She will watch over Tuscany and help her since her paw is not feeling too great. She already has a seat on the dais next to Logan's spot which is next to Latte's. It's fine if she can't come to decorate...cause that way, she will be really surprised when she sees the way the place looks!
So, should we ask Max to stop by to pick her up after he picks up Logan? That will be fine with max I am sure...he also loves to take special care of kitties. He and Raja have runners bringing food to whoever is on the dais....the places of honor really. Tuscany will be pampered --and watched...just so she doesn't overdo anything. It will be all good! Don't worry.... :-D
Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!

So far - not too bad with the numbers and the 'roids. Could be alot worse - and I should keep my mouth shut. Tuscany has missed the litter box 2-3 times in the last few days. Why is it DH does not smell the urine smell? I can smell it walking in the back door - he'll go and do litter and not even know it. Geez. She is mostly getting on piddle pad with 1 time some minor splash. They are clean boxes - thought maybe see was objecting to the longevity of the litter in the old boxes. Nope, 2 new boxes (well the litter) and still misses the box. (When I have seen her - she gets in box but the aim ends up outside the box. This could be problematic on travel - EIther that or I"ll have to carpet the areas she stays in with piddle pads.

Maybe Sienne. WHen I have caught her in litter box - it's almost like she doesn't want to put more effort into making sure she is fully in. All 4 paws are in the box - but it's like she is saying - I'm doing the best I can here. Prior to these last few days I hadn't needed a new piddle pad in few weeks. Could it also be a steroid effect? Who knows. I have tried putting less litter in box so that she is lower - hoping the sides will catch more of the pee. She really doesn't squat much anymore so the pee just goes out - not down.

Am pleased with her last number. I am giving the steroid at pm+2.

Dont steroids make one urinate more?? I know they make you thirsty, so more urine output is possible..
I know that Moonie just goes into LB & goes wherever she is standing, doesnt turn around, & goes in the corner or the front---face facing the back of LB..Then she digs to China
Maybe it's the height of the opening of the LB, that's a consideration--Or of course, her arthritis--
Hopefully it will be just a passing thing & she will regain her strength..Sending strengthening vines to our dear Tuscany--Hugs & ni ni!
