Rupert looks fine this morning, came and got me, had his breakfast and then was waiting for me at +1 swatting at me thru the stair railing. Hungry this morning, coat still looks good. I wonder if he surfs lower levels in the middle of the night just to keep me guessing? Can't imagine he could stay at these high numbers all the time and still look so healthy? Maybe he's just a 'high octane' sort of guy? who knows. Of course, I bet he'll start to see some decent action tonight/tomorrow right before leave for my sister's for the weekend! ohmygod_smile Oh well, I guess we'll try to get back on track next week and possibly get more aggressive with the dosing. Will be making vet appt. next week for follow up blood work etc. Hopefully she won't want to yank that other tooth, he doesn't seem to be in any pain at all so I'm hoping we can stall that extraction for a while since we really can't afford it at the moment. Still.. if she thinks that's causing issues then I guess the old Visa card will take another hit!

Hope everyone has a great day. Today is Squeak's 25th birthday! He's our oldest horse. Hubby got him a bag of carrots and a box of Ginger snap cookies (his favorite) to share with him tonight.

Re: 5/24 Rupert AMPS 428

Hi guys .. Happy 25th Birthday to Squeak! Is that a good age for a horse? I mean, is that old for a horse or is he still young? Young at heart is what counts I guess! Rupert, you bring these numbers down .. but let your beanz go away for the weekend .. they deserve it! Hope you guys have a great day!

yay for some blue tonight.....he'll get his 2.25 dose tomorrow morning (unless his +4 number surprises me!) and then back to straight 2u for Friday night, saturday, sunday and monday morning. hate to reduce when he might JUST be starting to do something but can't leave that responsibility with hubby so want to keep him safe over the weekend. NO doubt hell start a wicked bounce from this blue anyway so it will all work out for the weekend.

Woohoo for blue!! Way to go, Rupert! Happy birthday to Squeak. Did he enjoy the ginger snaps? I love those too. :-D

Nice to see the dive master is in action again. No doubt he'll need the weekend to recover from whatever he is throwing you tonight. Have a good weekend!

Happy Birthday to Squeak!
Rupert doing great tonight! Surf on the blue Rupie!
I love the blue numbers, kitties healing, while beans can relax & can sleep a bit!

not too wicked a sneak up from +4 to +5, could be a food spike (I'm letting him have a small snack each hour).. or it could be the beginnings of the bounce. I don't think he's going to go any lower tonight. I'm off to bed. Thanx for all the supportive words everyone, it really helps. Had a seriously crappy day today - long story regarding drivers license office screwing up some paperwork for my hubby and me having to phone around all day trying to get it sorted (it still isn't, and I'll have to deal with it when I get back on Tuesday, and I can't tell hubby about it till then or he'll stress all weekend.. I"m hoping the situation will have sorted itself out by next week, lord knows I've phoned and rattled enough cages and have enough people working on it).
looking forward to a fun weekend with my sister and hoping DH can handle all the animals and not get too wigged out whilst I'm gone! will be able to post AMPS and +2, maybe +3 (9am) tomorrow. Have to be downtown by 10:30 so I"m hoping Rupie has some nice numbers and doesn't decide to dive tomorrow. I"m going to drop him to 2u tomorrow morning and for the weekend so hubby doesn't have to worry.
