Good morning, LL!
Ripley is doing GREAT today! She's moving around normally, had a very happy appy (no need for freeze-dried treat enticements today ~ may be a FIRST!). She slept next to me alllllll night. (Happy sigh!)

I'm considering adding a drop to her dose tonight ~ her numbers have gradually crept up... We'll see what Ripley decides to do today after reading her own condo...

Our animals are acting a little extra clingy and nervous (and not because of the small earthquake last night ~ oh, no, they all slept peacefully through that); my DH is leaving for the holiday weekend, and they've been watching him pack and get ready. I have a feeling they think I'm going, too. Won't they be pleasantly surprised! Every Memorial Day Weekend a BUNCH of friends get together for a camping trip ~ we've been going for about 10 years to the same spot ~ but, unfortunately, I'm unable to go this year. We considered taking Ripley with us, but it sounds too risky and stressful ~ long drive, hours from a vet, cold nights, lots of dogs, plus Ripley hasn't been 'trained' for anything like this. I'm glad Will is going, though (well, mostly glad ~ I am a little bit jealous); I'd feel bad if he missed out, too, because of our sugarcat. So I am the BIC this weekend; and because I'm staying in town, I'm also the BIC for several friends' kitties/mail/houseplants, too. So I won't be moping around all weekend ~ hopefully ;-) .

I'm sending vines to all kitties and beans who need them, including Georgia's Simon.

I have my own medical appt. this morning (my turn, Ripley), but I'll BBL for some long-over-due condo-visiting :-D !

Hi guys .. so glad to hear all is well with ripley this morning! Good luck on the extra juice if you take it .. And I can totally relate to the little bit of jealousy .. we had that a few times mocha was on the juice too .. but better safe then sorry .. Have a great holiday weekend!

Hi Josie, glad Ripley is moving along better. No kidding, you had an earthquake! :shock: I have not had the real news on yet, just TWC and in between doing things here half listening. I caught up with yesterday's condo and glad Ripley had a good Vetty appt. So it maybe sounds like that was a flare with what happened the other day? So sorry you can't join DH for the weekend, but like Devon says, better safe than sorry. Good luck with hoomis Vetty today. Scritches to Ripley and civvies.

I'm glad Ripley is feeling better this morning. I hope she slides down to green today. I hope everything goes well with your doctor appointment. It sounds like it is better for you & Ripley to stay home this weekend. It does make it hard to travel with a sugar cat.

Ripley is having a restful day, as am I.
My appt. was a little more exhausting than I expected, so I took a cat nap with Ripples for (ahem) 3 hours. :oops: ! Must've needed it.

I will add a little drop to her dose tonight....

Hi Josie,

Oh dear, gosh sorry that you won't be able to camp--but Ripley is so much more important! Maybe next year you'll be able to go or even later this summer sometime :mrgreen: Take advantage of a quiet house--Lots of Josie-time! And how nice of you to check on other's pets!

Glad to hear all is well; that the earthquake wasn't a big one :-D I'm glad we don't have these here (well, usually not, but there were several last year due to fracking, I guess) but would love a little of Ca. warmth this weekend!

Hi, Kat :-D Thanks for visiting today. You're right, Ripley is MUCH more important. I'm looking forward to some me-time (and house cleaning/organizing ~ it's much easier to do when it's just me who is home :lol: :smile: ).

Awe sorry that you didnt get to go on the trip - but hope you enjoy your "me-time" :-D Its so nice of you to look after other kitties this weekend too!
