PurrFace honored us with a nice deposit in the Bank of Poo last night. He's looking and acting good this morning in spite of pink & yellow PM cycle. I started a new insulin pen at last nights PM cycle because the previous one was empty, not due to concerns on it's potency. We have our fingers crossed that PurrFace will return to the Lagoon today.

We finished the bunk bed part of the project and moved it into DGS bedroom. The ladder & guard rail needed another coat of poly so they remained here for grandpa to finish. There done and I'm taking them over this morning. Unfortunately we moved the bunk bed at night and I didn't get any pictures. I'll try to get some today but the bedroom is small so I might not be able to get a complete shot.

Thank you to everyone that visited our condo yesterday. We appreciate the encouragement. Be back tonight to visit condos. Wish everyone a great day and don't let anyone steal your joy.

Re: 5/24 PurrFace AMPS 214

Hi guys,

PurrFace, work that new insulin and come back to the lagoon! It's not too far!

Hey John, the bunk bed sounds great. I'm sure that your DGS will love it. I always wanted a bunk bed when I was a kid. Edward and I thought about building a loft bunk in one of our tiny apartments when we were graduate students, but didn't have the know-how and wound up sleeping on a mattress on the floor.

Have a great day and a fine holiday weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Hi guys .. ok purrface, work that new juice!! I can't believe you were able to use the entire pen without any problems .. seems like mocha couldn't go for more then 25 days or so on her pen without losing momentum! Looking forward to the bunk bed pics! Have a great holiday weekend!

Re: 5/24 PurrFace AMPS 214

I'd love to see a pic of that bunk bed--you've been working a good while on it, correct? That AMPS is most likely blue!!--I bet PurrFace goes below that today!

Re: 5/24 PurrFace AMPS 214

Hi John, nice start of the day for lil PurrFace and good prezzies report, too. It looks like the Miralax did its magic getting PurrFace back on track. I'd also love to see a pic of the bunkbed. You and DGS put a lot of love and work into it. Have a great Friday.

Re: 5/24 PurrFace AMPS 214

HI John,
I hope there was a great surf at Chez PurrFace today. I'm glad to hear the Mirlax is doing the trick and there are regular deposits at the bank.
Congrats on finishing and placing the bunkbed project! I bet DGS is so proud of himself. That's going to be a great story to tell and show off for lots of years.
Have a great night! hugs and scritches to you all

PurrFace hung out on the yellow rung of the color ladder today. Tonight's PM cycle begins his 10th cycle on this dose so I really hope he gets back to the Lagoon. His lowest BG # in the past 24 hours was the +4/189 today so he has a way to go. I don't want to lose the momentum.

Ella, I hope he gets back to the Lagoon also. I got a laugh when I read about you and Edward sleeping on a mattress on the floor. When Donna & I moved into our first unfurnished apartment, soooooooo many years ago, we had a bed frame but couldn't afford the mattress so we slept on the floor within the frame . Oh, the good old days.

Devon, we have been able to "bottom out" several pens. I'm cheap so I'll squeeze eaves drop out of them as long as it's doing it's job. Unfortunately my DGS bedroom is too small for me to get enough distance between me and the bunk bed to get a picture. The next time I go over I'll take my Canon and see if I can use the panoramic setting to get a complete photo.

Kat, I sure hope he gets at least to the blue today also. As for the bunk bed project, I believe we started it around the middle to end of March. We only got a day per week on it if we were lucky and he didn't want me to work on it when he wasn't here.

Ann, I'm really glad when I see him making his deposit in the bank of poo. I think he believes we're a little weird watching him  DGS did put a lot of work into the BB project.

Mary, yes, those deposits are welcomed sites. DGS is proud of the BB project. He did very good for his first time every using any type of tools. He's had his friends over to see it and now wants to use my wood burning tool to inscribe his initials and the date he built it.

Thank you all for your visit. Wish everyone a great evening.
