Awwwrightythen! Dropping too fast, fed 2 T MC, will check in an hour.
Cancelled and rescheduled my attorney's appt that WAS at 12:30 PM today, until next Wednesday, late afternoon. Good thing everyone, atty, DR's, therapist, etc, knows that everything is scheduled around Lucian's BG's. :lol:

OK, too much MC, should have limited the MC and added it to LC.......food spike. Test again in an hour. :YMSIGH:

Having his LC lunch. (Actually just a snack of 1/8 can.)
Edit: I have found out today, that the Tuna and Sauce @ 14 carbs has a much stronger effect on his BG's than the Beef and Gravy @ 15 carbs. The beef will hold him pretty steady, with a moderate increase, but the tuna has the same effect as the 23 carb HC I keep for emergencies. Nice to know this though. This means I need to go to the store later, since I have no more MC foods and will only get the Beef from now on. ohmygod_smile Of course the other cats don't mind getting what's left of the MC.

Eating the other half of his lunch, the other 1/8 can LC, but I rubbed about 2 drops (or less), of gravy on it.
More often than not, this probably isn't his nadir. He likes to pretend he's a Lev kitty.
And I really don't want him going any lower, because of his bounces.
My son just called to check on him.....that's sweet. o
He's my angel. He was supposed to go to the atty's with me, so he knows what's going on with Lucian. cat_pet_icon

Nice job of steering with some different foods. And finding out that the Tuna & Sauce spikes his numbers more.

Knew it was coming. All he has to do is hit low blue and he tries to skyrocket. Cat thinks he's on a bungee cord!
This is why I'm going to add a bolus. Seeing this coming at +9-+10, it could have been controlled until the Lantus could kick in again.
I'm working on it, have experienced members, that have had to use the 'R' in these situations, willing to help me and as soon as I get it figured out, I'm There!
I'll pick up the R at Walmart this weekend. It's been almost 6 months and he's still going crazy high. Drastic times require drastic measures.
On to Plan G, A thru F hasn't worked! @-)
