Ate very well this morning. Actually came into the kitchen to eat (as opposed to me bringing her food to her, wherever she is lounging). Ate approx 2 1/2 Tbsp FF. Also fairly playful this morning - played attack-the-hand...

Planning dose increase to 1.5 for PM shot when I can monitor.

Side note: I put a link in my signature to a small album of photos of my Big White Cat, who went to the bridge last week. Just wanted everyone to be able to see my sweet, gorgeous little boy.

I hope Kasha's numbers come down from here soon. Glad that she tried to play with you this morning, play is always a good thing.

The photos of Big White Cat are lovely, what a beautiful kitty, I am so sorry that he had to leave you. (((Krys)))

They are always in our hearts, right?

I hope Kasha will bring those numbers down....hey....we are having a full moon party at out house on Thursday and all kitties are invited. We hope that Kasha can catch a moonbeam and come....it is the Flower moon of may and there will be food and dancing and lots of giggles! It is going to be so much fun...

Well, here goes - another dose increase. I had hoped we'd be moving in the other direction again by now but... oh well.

She ate well again - over 2 Tbsp without excessive encouragement on my part. I'll give her a little more (different flavor) a little later.

Tomorrow is the big vet appt at the specialist. Nervous. She's supposed to eat a "light" breakfast. Uh huh - that's every day, pretty much. I think I'll pack some food and water and a makeshift litter box for the ride back. There is no way she is going to go that long without using the lb. No way. It's 45 min each way plus appt time. Not my girl.

I ordered SQ fluids and equipment (needles, tubing) for her today. I should be well stocked on that stuff.

Called today to find out more about the practicalities of surgery on Blue's foot (amputation). They could get me in on 4 June, but I totally panicked and couldn't commit. I have to schedule this. Also need to find/borrow a large dog crate or something to keep Blue in while he recovers - room for sleeping, food and litter but no place to jump, etc.
