I know you Westerners are jealous, 'cause it's 36 degrees. here in Southern NY, and y'all have to put up with hot sun. :lol:

Everybody was wearing winter coats. At least it's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow, with sun.

I'm sure Checks didn't go any lower than yellow, while I was gone today. He forgives me for leaving him, 'cause I brought home yummies.
I hit the jackpot. Canned white chicken was on sale and I had a coupon to double. Yay!

He refuses Paw Lickin Chicken, but he is crazy about canned white chicken, that I smush with my fingers. Same thing! :roll:

Hi Barb-I'm happy to see that lovely +8 for Checkers. We didn't have snow here today, but I don't think it went above 50 and we had a lot of wind. Tomorrow we may top 65; not a nice day for a cook out....we have lots of people coming over, so it will still be a nice house party! How's the mattress?

Nice start to the night Checkers. Glad you ditched that red floor, yellow is nice but a blue surf is even better for tonight.

It's not as nice as California here, but I'm happy enough with the 60's. Isn't winter supposed to be gone at your place by now? Too funny on Checkers lovin' the people version of Paw Lickin Chicken. :lol:

Seriously ...SNOW??? Holy cow, I would cry. It was bad enough that our temperatures dropped almost 30 degrees throughout the day. I was perfectly comfy in the summery outfit I left the house in, when it was in the mid-70s. By the time the work day ended, it was 49. Crazy!!

Lookin' good tonight. Enjoy that chicken, Checks!!

I hope Checkers comes down (safely) tonight.

OT: I saw today's food thread on Ann/Maggie's condo ~ I recently heard a review of Eckl's on an NPR program I listen to. I had never even heard of beef on weck until then. Sounds sooooo yummy. (Eckl's supposedly makes a mean whiskey sour, too ;-) ) These pics make my mouth water.
