5/23 Simon PMPS 130 +4 152

[Georgia and Simon (GA)]

At least this is not a pink number this morning! Simon had some nice blue numbers yesterday and last night, was very active. Of course, this was in the middle of the night! After his automatic feeder went off, he had some renewed energy and was running all over the bed, trying to get Cleo in on the action. He would only settle down if I gave him more food. He has me so well-trained.

The vet did not call me back yesterday concerning the Adequan. Hopefully, today I will be talking with him. Simon seems to have more problems in the morning with stiffness (just like me!) and last night he was so much better.

FYI: Because the Feline duck and pea pill pockets have been discontinued, I bought the Canine kind. Even though the ingredients are supposedly the same, Simon does not really like it. He always LOVED the feline kind. Does anyone else have this problem?

Nice sunny start today for Simon. Much better than those pinks. Good luck on the adequan discussion with your vet. Our lab, Charlie, is on adequan for his arthritis in his knees and it has been a godsend. Unfortunately for a dog we have to give it intramuscular but kitties can get it subq, which would be so much easier.

Simon seems to have more problems in the morning with stiffness (just like me!) and last night he was so much better.

I have RA and am definitely stiffer in the morning so I can see how Simon would be as well.

Gem won't eat the duck & pea personally, but from what I've read, the canine ones are a bit smokier. Gem gets the chicken flavor, and I bought some canine because they were out of the feline. She likes them both, but the canine ones definitely have a smokier smell to me. And they're bigger, which actually works for us as I can put more pills in one and use less!
