I went and pulled out the syringes I have for the Adequan and they are monojects. I wish I had someone here who has used both. Harpoon is a good word
to describe them.
Amy (& trixie) told me she used the Terumo's for this size.
Shadow did fine after her shot last night ( of Adequan). Her numbers didn't go up from the stress.
I guess she's just a big baby when it comes to getting poked.
I took our sheer curtains down in our living room to wash and we currently have lots of sunbeams ( cheers, Mannie) and Shadow is rolling on the floor
enjoying them, makes me want to leave the curtains off.
We have this huge 12 foot sliding door in this room. The sun doesn't usually make sunbeams with the sheer curtains hanging.
So far she's been in a good holding pattern for the last week plus.
And I just bought her a set of stairs ( because I could have the wood trimmed down to make them narrow)

I got them for $150. pricey but all the others are too cumbersome. I'm limited on space beside the bed. I hope Shadow will use them.
Of course, the dog ( Luna) probably will too.

The terumo's are so much better for insulin.... wonder if they carry thru for the Adequan harpoons. We used Terumos 1cc/mL 25G x5/8" needles for Mario's adequan - this is what the vet gave us, too. Next to the insulin needles, these things felt like harpoons, and they did take more "muscle" to get them to pierce his skin, but we always thought that was - in part - because his skin as tougher than Trix's.
