Starting off GREEN again after a good green day yesterday. Rusty had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness turkey) and a nice combing from his papabean. So far this morning I have cleaned the house, made chili for dinner, done laundry, and in 20 minutes we will go to meet our houseguest at the Placid Boatworks. He is buying a Spitfire (small, very excellent solo canoe) to take back to Florida, where he and his wife just moved this winter (they were our downstairs neighbors in our Brooklyn co-op and are very good friends). He drove up from Miami to get the boat. She is working and couldn't come, even though the boat is for her (he is going to buy a spare one that we own for himself). So we are going to have a busy day. I'll be back with Rusty updates as I can.

Rusty is fine. He knows we're having company because we vacuumed!

Beautiful summer day here. Temps in the 70s this afternoon--good boat-trying weather!

Nice AMPS for Rusty. Sounds like you have been a busy one and I was wondering how you got it all done so early til I realized the three hours' difference. Have a wonderful time with your friends today, great weather, too.

Hi Ella. I'm glad your weather is nice. Weather predictors are saying how wonderful, sunny and warm, it's gonna be in Buffalo, but 50 miles south here, its drizzly.

I'm glad to see kitters at the green lagoon this morning! Yay Rusty!

I did some experimenting last night and found out that you were right and I should have known you would be. I drew up a dose, expressed the plunger gently just to where it stopped without any additional pressure. I wiped the syringe off and then I pressed it again firmly (remember how I said I press against it firmly when injecting Gracie) and another big drop (probably equivalent to two of Gracie's dosing drops) came out :shock: :shock: :shock: I then checked an old one I had where the needle comes down to the zero line and did the same thing and one of Gracie's dosing drops came out.

So now...if they fix it or start making them with the needles down again, there may have to be some dose adjustments. I wish I could do it consistently like Ann with drops but I've tried and tried. I am just making sure now that the amount in the hub is always the same or I toss it. I worked with that over and over last night so hopefully am getting consistent there.

I think it only really works on very small doses, too hard to keep the drops consistent for the number you would nee in larger doses. Even so I am not sure we are totally accurate. We all do the best that we can.
 
Love these 80's green numbers! Green & yet not too low to scare the mumbeans! It's perfect Rusty!

Is paddling a daily activity in your place? Is it a sport?
