Morning Joe

Just a few seconds before I head to work. Sorry I missed you last night. If you think the SEB is causing his numbers to increase and you are giving him other foods, etc and the flagyl, then I'd stop it. No since in making matters
worse.

Nice AMPS today, relatively speaking....getting lower!! :-D :-D

Re: 5/23 Jinx AMPS 344 (AT)

A little better AMPS, lets hope the trend continues.

Tess gets about half raw and half Wellness. We have the added problem of needing to keep her phosphorus low, but she loves the NV Organic Chicken. I also have a homemade raw that I mix w/ it, for an even lower Phosphorus. The Beef and the Chicken and Turkey are also good for both carbs and phos. You can get a $3 coupon when you do decide to try it and they have small trial size bags too.

I've also recently been looking at FreshPet Vital complete Meal Cat Food. It is cooked, but refrigerated. I'm still trying to get ALL the info from the company, but it looks like it will be about 4.4% carbs and under 200mg/100 kcal Phosphorus. You can get it at PetSmart and i think at some grocery stores.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking in on us.

Peter, you were right! +5.5 is 163. Fingers crossed!!

Finally had a solid stool today but I think it's safe to attribute that to the flagyl. Second day of Nature's Variety/Instinct canned chicken so I'm going to stick with it and hope for the best when he gets off the flagyl. Also taking a stool sample of his in today for a more extensive text to include giarida and less common parasites.

So, does anyone think whatever was/is causing the loose stools is contributing to his high BG numbers, or probably not?

Blues and a solid stool! What a day for Jinx. Keep it up JInx, you are looking good. Raw food processes through the cat's system pretty quickly, so that may have had some impact on what you are seeing at the back end too. Sound like you had no problem making the transition in food, so congrats on that too.
