Yesterday's Condo

Gabby had a great day yesterday! There is some evidence that she may not have eaten her +9 snack until substantially after +9 which could mean that her first test of the day has some food behind it. She was a bit fussy about breakfast which is why I think she may not have been especially hungry (and the dregs in the feeder looked rather fresh vs. more on the dried out side). After a bit of coaxing (i.e., removing her from her now favorite box and carrying her to her food*), she ate.

*When did servant become part of my job description?

After two mornings of waking up to fog and mostly grayness, it is wonderful to wake up to sunshine and blue skies. I hope everyone in LL is enjoying the same.

I think that is the first lesson we should learn...that we ARE their servants... :lol: but, not to worry Sienne...just keep up what you are doing....your work seems to be satisfactory...and you will have a certain job security that is important in these troubled days of unemployment.

Uhhh...just a suggestion though....

Next time .... try carrying her food TO her IN her favorite box and you will be golden! :thumbup

great run of numbers yesterday, and this is such a low yellow this morning, I wouldn't be surprised if you saw some more action today!! Enjoy the sunshine ...

Someone please tell my babies to stop expecting such services? To bed and to bowl. And sometimes, to the potty even.

Glad Gabby had such a nice day yesterday. Maybe the sunning of the pancreas today will allow her to dip her delicate toes into lower blue.

Nice to see that Gabby had a good day yesterday. I am really surprised that you didn't realize that you are Gabby's servant and have been since the beginning...Gabby must be really good at keeping secrets!!!

I'm not sure where that drop came from unless the yellow was a "high" before a break. But geez....

Gabby is busy inhaling HC.

All I can say is :shock: :shock: I know we want gabby to have some nice lower numbers but jeeze, that was a quick drop...by any chance did you retest to make sure???

Uh.... Deb.... The first test was a 25 and I had to make sure I didn't have the meter upside down. The 33 is the re-test.

Well at least you know the 33 either way is 33.
Wow on a Sunday night she pulls this on you. Yesterday was fabulous!!
I am sure she is loving that HC now.

Dosecrease maybe tomorrow night. I think we all know what tomorrow morning's numbers will look like. (Ugh!)

Thank you Nicole. Given that this is Gabby, the only thing that made me gasp was that 25. (I've had that happen if there was almost enough blood in the strip but not so little that I got an error code.) I figured it was an error so retested. And then pulled out the HC.

Who do you think told Mannie about cliff diving?

Have you been ignoring her or something? She was sure asking for some serious intense attention tonight!!

Don't bounce so hard tomorrow Gabby. It means more work for you to go all the way up, then come back down. Are you really interested in doing all that work?

It's just easier to keep the numbers from tonight all in one place since I'll probably be testing for a while tonight.

Gabby the bouncing astrocat :lol: Good catch, nice dosecrease and I hope the bounce isn't too ugly. (yeah, right- it is Gabby we are talking about. I'll fall off my chair if she is less than 300 in am)
