Checks ate good FF breffis's...I had low blue at +4 last night, so got a 6.5 and was green. Back to blue at +9, and fed.
I was suspicious that he was dropping during the night.
Hope he stays blue today. It's nasty again....dark, rainy. Body aching weather.

I hate having to give him bupe. I always wonder if it gives him *medicine head*.
Who could possibly know? He doesn't act spacey, just his little body works better. He prances, instead of walking slowly, so as long as he gets pain relief, that's what counts.

Hi guys .. oh such nice numbers for checkers! I hear ya on the rainy dreary weather .. we have that going on too .. If checkers doesn't act spacey he's probably ok .. he just feels a lot better when he gets it .. have a great day!

Those are some fabulous number for Checkers today! I know what you mean about the meds, but if he seems happy and comfy, that's always a good thing. I hope you both don't have any aches in the yucky weather today....

What a nice run for Checks!! And last night too!! Looks like you were up all night last night.
When you look at Ollie's ss, remember there's 2 of us getting tests. a lot of nights, i sack out from +2 to +4or5 and then i can get tests while DH sacks out. After AMPS, DH sacks out and i'm on duty. You're on duty 24/7...much more difficult.

Come on Checks.. one little step to the lagoon!!

Phooey, I accidentally popped a can of grilled (gravy) FF, confusing the shades of green. Then 'cause he was yelling at me, I gave anyway, 'cause he loves it. My brain knows that 90 & 108 are basically the same, but one ain't green. BooHoo!

HUGS BARB! Seriously, I DID change the way our spreadsheet works to allow a lighter green for 100-120, 'normal' numbers. Coloring it by a range of 100's didn't easily show me when he stayed in 'normal' range. I like it much better now - easier for me to see 'normal'!!!

I made an appt for Sat, to have Checkers' hips x-rayed. He sometimes walks with right rear leg/foot, turned out a little.

I noticed today, that facing him, sitting, his hips/knee? .....is uneven. One side juts out farther than the other.
When I see he's in pain, I've always assumed it was his spine. Now I'm not sure where the pain is coming from.
So Sat. I'll find out. I'm not sure I'll like what I hear. :sad:

Hi Barb! Yeah for blue and that purr-T green, Checkers :-D I hear ya on the body-aching weather--I felt like somebody beat me earlier....between the discs, spine and fm, when the barometric pressure changes, I sure do know it! I hope that wonderful new mattress is helping, Barb. I'm glad the bupe helps Checkers' pain; even if he does get the medicine head, I'm sure the pain relief trumps it for him. Prancing is good! Have a wonderful evening :razz:

Barb, I hope that the possible problem with the leg/foot/knee can be seen and remedied.
