Reduced Sly to 0.1U on that nice AMPS and 7 days of good numbers on 0.25U.
The crapper of the situation is we are picking up D/D for Sly to try today. At least with my insistence that it be more diabetic friendly that I/D ad Z/D they searched for the lowest carbs they could find (other than DM since we already know he won't eat that). Fingers crossed his pancreas is healed enough to handle 16-17%.
Ironically I've been told that I am not to reduce or take him off of insulin for the next 2-4 weeks while we try to get him onto these foods. I am giving him a small dose this vet would never prescribe on numbers she'd never say to give insulin at, but I am not supposed to stop that!
Jason did reduce his Cerenia last night because he was just too miserable. By about 4am you could tell he felt a lot better.
