Good morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday
pm+10.5 - 50
AMPS 99
Yep der's food in dat AMPS of 99! Had to feed that 50 quickly! He seems to be feeling well, he ate fairly well but only if I mixed HC with his lc. For some reason yesterday, he wanted to eat EVERYTHING in sight! I checked his bg a couple of times when he was very insistent but it was never low or even dropping fast. He's laying in the sun on the fort near me sprawled out on his back sleeping. The fan is blowing his hair lightly - it just sparkles like diamonds in the sun.
Sasha feels like crap today, poor baby. Yes she is achy from end to end, didn't want to eat this morning yet but she did have a tooth pulled too. It was a baby canine but it was seated really firm - they had to really pull to get it out. Her jaws are small anyway, I know her jaw is sore too. She's doing fairly well leaving her leg bandages alone - she's licking but not trying to bite them off. She'll have to wear them for about a week - hoping I don't have to resort to the cone. It IS nice to know we won't have to fight those dewclaw nails any more. Nice to now not have to worry about her heat cycles too.
ONLY 3 MORE DAYS until we meet the plane! I'm SO SO SO excited! Baby's coming HOME! Dakota may be 10 years old but he'll STILL be MY baby....
...just like the rest of this crew....
We ended up with about 2 inches of rain during yesterday's storms but no damage. We sure dodged another bullet! THANK YOU for all your thoughts and prayers.
Thoughts and prayers today for Julie and Punkin - what a team! We also share them for the families grieving the loss of their loved ones in the last storm...so hard...
BIG HUGS!!!!
