5/21 AMPS 249 - I slept all day long, was surprised how vaccine #2 knocked me out. Fever and fatigue kicked in about +12h from shot. Luckily the cats were quite happy to sleep all day, woke at midday to feed them and then again at 6pm.

Will try to get a ketone reading next time I get enough blood. She is drinking water again, even though her BG numbers aren't 'that' high. Wonder if the spiro makes her thirsty? She seems well.

That’s what it looks like from her SS. Does she still take spironolactone? Does she have a vet recheck coming up any time soon?

Yes, still on the spiro. The sitter didn't give it so I re-started Monday. Vet said to re-check after 2 weeks so I re-set the clock, thanks for reminder to schedule the appt!!

OHHH the catnip banana arrived. I put it right under Minnie's nose and she recoiled. Sam appeared from nowhere, grabbed it and carried it away. She is such a diva.

It's true. You can't tell from this pic, but she was lying down so I put it under her nose. This is her backing away from it as Sam reached out. At least he is enjoying all the recommendations I am picking up for treats and toys. He does enjoy the bonito flakes. Good thing she is easygoing for testing.

I once had a cat who was terrified of actual bananas. I let her sniff one once and she backed away with her ears back, and left the room by hugging the far wall so she could stay as far away as possible. The other cats were just indifferent to them.
