Yesterday's Condo

At some time before it was time to wake up, Gabby decided that I needed to be head butted and woken up because her ears were in desperate need of being scratched. It didn't matter that she laid down; she still wanted me to be awake enough to scratch her ears. The kitties are subdued. The weather turned cool (in comparison with the 90+ temp yesterday) and it won't turn sunny until later.

The streets in my neighborhood are still blocked and this morning, there are helicopters overhead. I missed seeing the Presidential motorcade. I got tired of hanging out and gawking. I think the police on my block were getting tired of the hoopla as well.

Hope those traffic got settled soon. Is Gabby scared of the noise from the helicopter? Ear scratching means she's content ? anxious? My cats hate anything out of their norm.

The helicopters didn't phase the cats in the least.

The NATO meeting is over today. Thankfully, I don't have to get near a freeway. The route to the airport will be subject to rolling closures. I think commuters will be rather annoyed.
