You only gave the drop dose two cycles to prove itself. That was not enough. And he was attempting to get over a bounce which would temporarily raise numbers. We dose based on nadirs, not the preshots. Watch him like a hawk.

You're right, I jumped the gun because I wasn't seeing numbers I thought I should have seen and I wasn't 100% sure if those high PS values were the result of a bounce or not enough insulin. We're getting in normal bg territory so bounces are not as obvious to my eye, like going from blue to yellow/pink.

Currently we are going from mid greens to mid blues, so its a little harder for me to make the judgment if its a bounce or too low of insulin.

But yes, im watching him closely and doing hourly checks near his nadir.

I did one check with the relion yesterday at his PMPS it was 151 alpha and 133 Relion.

Will be resuming the drop dose tonight and will hold it till his nadir is above normal range or I get advice from you thats its time to increase him.
