5/20 Wally AMPS=391,+2=227,+4=142,+6=118,+8=103,+9.25=138,PMPS=348,+2=365

Wally, Wally, Wally. Your little face makes me smile every time I see it. He did have a good day yesterday. Susie did too and she went right back into the stratosphere after that. I just hate the bouncing. It is like two steps forward and one back. Supposedly, the longer they get the good numbers the less bouncy they become. Fingers crossed. Have a great day, Gita.

I know. My consolation was this bounce was only into the upper 300's vs 400's or even 500's so I'm hoping your theory is correct. Good luck with Susie.

It is working for me. Susie broke the bounce very early this time and actually got another green today. Good luck with your "Ginger Cat", Wally.

Wow, look at Wally! Two blues in a row. Make sure you test at +8 just to make sure Wally starts coming up. Looks like his nadir is around +6 so he should start coming up but lets be on the safe side.

He's down to 103 at +8 which isn't a huge drop from +6. I do feed him a little FF after testing, especially when he's in the blues. His nadir sometimes seems to be between +6 and +8 so he should start coming up now.

Okay, just keep an eye on him. You don't want to feed after +9 because you don't want his PMPS number to be influenced by food. I am not supposed to be advising because I am very new. Maybe we can get someone on board to advise you.

@tiffmaxee or @Wendy&Neko or @JaxBenji

I appreciate your advice, but I've been doing the sugar dance with Wally since 2017 :cat: so no need to worry about my not keeping an eye on him or not feeding for 2 hours prior to testing time.

Hi Gita :bighug: sorry I haven't stopped by in a long while to say "hi". Hope you and Wally are doing alright. How's Sebastian❤️? Many pets to all the kitties.

Nice cycle today :cat:

Sebastian saw the vet today and his tongue ulcerations are almost completely gone! Such good news. We're keeping him on the new med (Atopica) every other day for 2 weeks then down to twice a week for 2 weeks and then he sees the vet again. I was so happy with this outcome and I hope by next month all the lesions will be gone. He may have to stay on this med for the rest of his life but if it keeps him healthy, it's worth it.

And Wally, par for the course, has gone gone back up into the 300's PMPS, but he's clearing the bounces more quickly so perhaps his pancreas is starting to work again.

@Summer and Susie A clarification. For newbies (which Gita definitely is not), we suggest not feeding after +10. We don't care so much whether the PMPS is influenced by food, but rather that any low preshot not be influenced by food. Otherwise we don't know if it's safe to shoot. Once people have enough data to know how much food increases the numbers, then it's not as critical whether there is late snacking. And definitely not an issue if the preshot is pink. :rolleyes:
