Racci is doing well today though still a bit high. Whenever she goes without eating for a long stretch it seems to raise her bg and yesterday she went for a long time sleeping & never woke for an afternoon meal while I fell asleep with her! She went from a nice greenie to a mean yellow. I'm waiting to do a +6 and hoping she came down more today than her +3 of 137. She is in a good mood though so must feel well. Her sore looked pretty clean after another day of flushing.(anti-jinx)
I fed Racci some new food early this morning and she ate it but when I tried again late she wouldn't eat it. :cry: She did eat another new one a little though in its place. I had to go back to her old standby to get a good meal in her at +3 though. I'll try them again at a very hungry feeding.
I saw the most wonderful sight this morning after feeding the birds! I have new visitors, a thrush couple and their baby! They were feeding the baby on my deck from the plates of birdseed and peanuts I put out for the bigger birds that can't easily fit the feeder! It was so adorable! The mom was in front of the baby and ran to a dish looking for the exact right seed to pick out for the baby than practically stuck her head in it's mouth feeding it as it followed almost on top of her with the father close behind the baby protecting the rear. They went all over the deck from plate to plate picking out the seeds they wanted for the baby oblivious of the squirrels and other birds who were also eating. I watched for about 10 minutes as this went on but couldn't get my camera without scaring them off.
That's about all my excitement for the day. I hope all kitties and beans are doing well today.
