5/20 Oberon AMPS 392 (0.5 R), +4 352, +6 431, +10 406, PMPS 437 (0.25 R), +3.75 301

Hope Oberon doesn't bounce too high. How does he react to yo-yoing between his lows and highs? Is he used to it by now?

He really doesn't seem to change behavior based on his BG... the only times I've seen him acting like he really wasn't feeling well were at his initial diagnosis, when he had mild pancreatitis and came out of remission, and maybe when his ketones spiked last September. Other than that, he hits all the P's pretty routinely no matter what (antijinx!). ("Play" for him is mostly bullying the other cats, but I count it.)

Looking good, Lisa. A few scary greens yesterday but you handled them well. Are you feeding the curve when Ob goes low?

When he starts a big dive he gets some regular LC at first, then MC if he goes below 80 or so to slow things down a little. MC/HC if needed once he levels off in the greens. We've got a pretty good system at this point.

How long does he usually take to clear a bounce? Looks like one cycle or one day? Bouncy boy. Really looks good yesterday except the limes but you got him back up and he surfed after that. You have my admiration!

Sounds like you have a very good plan! I am just now learning how to feed the curve.

This is totally weird... I can't find my vial of R. I used it this morning. It's kept in its original box in a ziploc bag in the fridge. Took it out this evening and the box is empty. We've retraced all our steps with it and checked stupid places like the sharps container just in case. Nothing so far. All I can figure is that it got knocked on the floor or something this morning and I didn't see it, and when I handed the bag to my husband to put away I didn't remember that I hadn't actually put the vial back in the box/bag. Naturally the cat is through the roof this evening, so I might just zip out to CVS to see if I can get more.

OK... got a new vial and since it's a bit late (45 min past PMPS) and it's a new batch I decided to be conservative and just give 0.25 U. With luck he'll start to come down soon.

How long can R be out of the fridge? I'm assuming that vial is around here somewhere, but even if I find it will it still be good?

I was thinking of getting a spare bottle anyways; the current one is about ⅓ full. So now I have plenty!

The cherries were just bought this afternoon, so I assume the vial slid out of the box and into the cherry bag when DH got it out of the fridge for PMPS.

Omg! That photo made me laugh! I once found my partner's housekeys in a bag of lettuce in the fridge. They had gone missing for a few days after a trip to the supermarket where we bought the lettuce. We retraced our steps, looked in every nook and cranny of the house...except the fridge. :p
