Good Morning LL

All is well with Checkers. Strange sequence of numbers this morning. I'm not unhappy that he hasn't taken a dive, 'cause I have lots to do away from home. These are 'not to worry' numbers.
Will get an 'out the door' test, of course.

Will get to condos later.

Green one day, and blue the next, on the same dose, is still puzzling to me.

Dr Dave just called with the results of Checkers' urinalysis.
Kidneys are fine. Yaaaaaay! :-D Nice concentration. Whatever else he looked for was fine. I can't remember everything the doc says. :roll:
I don't have an answer to the weight loss, but it wasn't sudden, and not from illness. He's been the same weight since last Aug.
Maybe this is what an older cat looks like. I sure don't have the muscle mass I did, in my younger days.
So I just need to watch him, and weigh occasionally, as I've been doing.

Hi Barb,
Good to read that Checker's labs are normal and that all is well with him. Now you can relax. Put him on a treadmill to build up his muscles!!
Did you get all your errands done? Did you have sunshine today? Here it's been pouring since mid afternoon. I'm afraid to look in the cellar!

YAY!! Checkers is healthy!!! That is good news Barb - I am so glad that all checked out OK. I guess if his weight loss hasn't been sudden and it has been stable for a while it should be ok? works for me. Now you can stop worrying, and just check him now and then.

I hope you had a good day today - it sounded busy. Busy is good, right? Did you get everything done? and I hope it wasn't pouring there..... we had sun - yay!

Oh good grief, Ella. I can't believe you're still getting the rain. I don't know why I'm surprised. The sky was dark a while ago, but it hasn't rained yet. It was sunny today, and not as cold.
Is the humidity in your celler, becoming a problem?

I got a lot of errands done today. Starting with a car full of junk, for town trash day. Once a year, we get to bring to the Town Hall parking lot, all the junk, that the weekly trash collector doesn't take.

It was good to not have to worry about hurrying back to test. I had a blue boy all day.
Last time I was in the Adirondacks was Aug 2, 1964, the day before my son was born. We were going for a camping weekend, with my DH's boss.
I heard on the radio, that the country singer, Jim Reeves, was killed in a plane crash that day, and it ruined my trip. I had loved his mellow voice, for years.
