good morning, Everyone,

A Warm, sunny day here this morning. Rusty had a good night. He finally broke his bounce and had a 136 at bedtime. A little bounce this morning. He was hungry for breakfast and has eaten his triple platter of FF T &G, Wellness turkey, and paw lickin chicken (a huge hit!). We had a good test and shot, he enjoyed his lung treat, and at present is napping in his little bed (which we put on the coffee table here, since there is no radiator). Edward left already for the library and to have coffee with a friend. I am getting my stuff ready for the bike ride to Red Hook. Edward will come home at lunch time to give Rusty his lunch and spend time with him.

Wishing all a good day. Thank you so much for visiting. I'll try to do some catching up this evening.

Ella & Rusty

Hey kitties, today let's spend the morning at the Metropolitan Museum visiting our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries and putting up some 'Mannie was Here' plaques. Then lunch from the hot dog cart on the famous steps of the museum, where we can watch the tourists and maybe the BMG can put on a performance for them. Then we can stroll down the East River Greenway and do some fishing for eels. Then to MoMA to check out the mouse show. Then let's let the day evolve. Maybe a snack in Chinatown. Maybe a carriage ride in Central Park, or a pedicab ride. See you all soon.

I wonder if they give out samples LOL I crack myself up! There's a street vender across the street from MoMA selling gyros, maybe we ask him to grill some meeces for us too! See you soon ~Leo

Hey Rusty! Oh I lubs the Egyptian exhibit. We can pretend to be statues again and scare the tourists. Mannie always loved that. Yummmo on the hot dogs too. The carriage ride sounds like a great way to wrap up the day. Have a great day! - T

Re: 5/2 Rusty AMPS 222, PMPS 270

Hi again,
Whatever Rusty did today with his bgs, only he knows. I hope he saw blue. He slept a lot when Edward was home in the afternoon, and he's sleeping now.

My bike ride was challenging. I hadn't ridden all winter and I haden't ridden tHis bike since last fall. We only did about 30 miles, but most of the ride was in heavy, chaotic traffic. The part along the Brooklyn piers on new bikeways was great. I was on my bike for 7 hours (with a half hour out for lunch). Haven't done that since the last time I rode with this group. I'm a bit tired this evening! A day like today puts things in perspective.

Tomorrow is our last day in the city. I have a doctor appointment in the morning and am going to meet my friend at the bike expo in the afternoon. The we are having dinner wiTh friends. Rusty will be happy to get home on Saturday.

Wishing you all a fine evening.

Hey Kitties. What a great day today. It was fun pretending to be Ancient Egyptian cats come to life. The museum goers were amazed. The best part of the day was the carriage ride. The horse was proud to have a Mannie was Here plaque on his carriage. Tomorrow: Brooklyn-- Prospect Park, Coney Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Promenade. Lotsmof good fuds. Nathan's Famous Hot dogs in Coney Island. Cheesecake at Junior's.
See you then,
Rusty

I hope you have a really nice seat on that bike. 7 hours ... ouch!
That just sounds really long if you haven't been on a bike all winter.
I'm having to get up and stand just thinking about that.
