5/2 Oberon AMPS 391 (1 R), +3 256, +6 302, +9 294, PMPS 333 (1 R), +4 242, +8 189

And coming back up again... thinking about midcycle R but I'm not sure. Might be time to rethink the scale again. He had a ~135 point drop at +3 this morning. If it had been the start of a slide I'd ignore it, but since he's coming back up now it seems that drop may have been just from the R itself, in which case I need to redo the scale.

Dropping again... just R, or an actual slide this time? Guess I'll get to stay up a little longer and find out.

It's about a 90 point drop at +4, which is roughly my target range for R. This morning's drop was bigger, though. So hard to tell what's really going on, since R is overlaid on the Lantus effect and everything else.
True, 90 at +4 is good. This morning was dramatic!

And speaking of unpredictable... it's been 6 cycles now since we saw any green (and this is cycle 18 at 9 U), and I'm starting to think about another increase. @Wendy&Neko, what do you think? Bump him up tomorrow if there's no action tonight? Or hold steady until the next time he dives to see how low he goes now? I don't want to hold too long if he needs the increase, but I also don't want to increase if he doesn't need it.

I'd think about increasing if not dropping by AMPS. Or if your day is busy, wait one cycle.

Do you add the R when the insulin itself does not work as well as you hope? Or is there any reason?
