Love starting the morning with yellow, instead of pink, red or black!

Pumbaa has been on a pretty steady decline since yesterday's AMPS...no curve, just a steady decline other than a 13 point blip at last night's PMPS. He must be coming out of that "Yee gads, I hit green!" bounce, and the dose is settling in.

I'm beat after working all night, and then doing 2-1/2 hours of hard yard work already this morning, but will stay up for a +3 reading, and then get up for a +6 reading as well, to make sure he doesn't drop too fast. +3 and +6 will determine if I am going to get any sleep today.

Pumbaa is back to being a juvenile delinquent, and I'm so happy about that! This morning, he made me chase him around the house to catch him for testing, and I had to remove the wrist strap from the meter because for the last 4 cycles, he's been grabbing at the strap and trying to throw the meter on the floor during our testing. *LOL* Even with the wrist strap gone, he tried batting the meter off the table this morning. That's my Pumbaa!

Re: 5/19 Pumbaa AMPS/246

OH! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks their boycat is a juvenile delinquent. I'm actually missing the broken nights, things flipped off any horizontal surface, askew miniblinds, tipped over water...

Glad your boy is feeling like himself at the moment :)

Re: 5/19 Pumbaa AMPS/246

Your description sounds like my house, with the addition of:

• Pumbaa stealing pliers while I am fixing a toilet, and dragging them out to the living room, unbeknownst to me until I reach for the pliers.

• Pumbaa pulling a 4+ lb. frozen chicken out of the kitchen sink where it was defrosting, and dragging it into the living room.

• Pumbaa figuring out how to open a drawer in a metal mesh desktop organizer so he could swipe rubber bands. Even after I blocked the drawer with a tape dispenser, hole punch and stapler, he moves those items out of the way to get the drawer open.

• Pumbaa jumping on my back when I am doing plumbing work under the kitchen sink.

• Pumbaa laying across my right/mouse arm while I am trying to work at the computer. Fortunately, he sits above the wrist, so I still have slight movement of the mouse.

• And the list goes on and on... haha_smiley
