Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=71285 was a day of flat reds, getting rid of the last of the bounce. Today is a nice sunshiney day! Just a couple of points away from the blue lagoon and hoping for that other colour too.

Today is the first cycle on 5.25 units and it seems it was a good day to dosecrease.

Neko was asking for brekkie an hour before it was due, she must have been feeling the rather lower start to the day (for her). No way I was going to sleep in today! When I finally got up and fed her, there was a good yard patrol and then she planted in front of her BFF until it gave her the +1 and +2 meals. That autofeeder is such a pal. At just before it was to go off, I started getting Theo's rest of breakfast ready and Neko was on the counter in the way. But did she ever move fast when the autofeeder started making noises.

Haven't seen play this morning, but the rest of the P's are in place. When Neko is lower than she is used to, she isn't relaxed enough to play.

I had a giggle when i read about Neko's BFF :lol: Does she actually leave the feeder alone? I know the second i crawl back into bed and Leo thinks i'm sleeping then he starts thumping it around and jumping on it to try and get it to open :lol:

I hope the dosecrease does the trick and Neko comes down for you.

+3.5 88 +4 71 that last pokie was taken while Neko was purring on DH's lap. I had to be extra careful on that one! Her ears were under his arm.

Looks like we have a nice little green surf happening. Neko has never done that before, she's done nothing but a toe dip into green. It's amazing the difference going from one side of the fat 5 unit line on the syringe to the other does.

Neko is loving the 1 tsp of LC she is getting with each pokie.

This condo made me laugh, picturing the cats and the feeders. Tracy's Leo, does what Checks used to do if I put tuna in the feeder. He'd bang it around and try to get it open. Otherwise he'd ignore it. I finally gave it to my DD.

I love Neko waiting for her BFF :lol:
You must be on cloud 9, Wendy, to see her numbers come down like that. I am today, also.

Hi Wendy, I've been around LL since January but I'm not sure I've really posted on your condo before! I'm going around meeting people because I feel like there's been about 60% turnover in who is on the board in the past couple of months. Lots of OTJ kitties and lots of new kitties.

I'm glad you're seeing a little bit of progress against those reds. That's good to see!

+6 68, +7 109. An end to a nice run of greens and I'm rather afraid I know what this means for colour tonight. All aboard the express elevator up! Oh well, it was nice to see her in such good numbers for so long today. She's oblivious to it all and sleeping on my laptop bag. During her lowest numbers she didn't show any distress (which is progress) and just wanted to sleep and purr on DH's lap.

@Tracy - as soon as the autofeeder is down at the feeding spot, Neko doesn't get more than 6 feet away. She lies down beside it until it delivers :lol:

@Kim - yes, there was the happy dance going on in this house today. It'll be 3 months tomorrow since we started Lantus and started hiking up the mountain trail of dose increases. I'll be happy to camp at this one a little while to see if it is the one. BTW - my kitties had bunny again this morning, maybe a sign of good things?

+11 514 Sigh. Neko regains the bouncing crown. That's 100 points an hour the last 4 hours. Ouch! gotta make her dizzy.

Celi - Neko would like that kind of autofeeder too! But she hasn't had any milk since the FD diagnosis.

Ooch! That is a great bounce Neko! Slowly get down! No kitty in LL wants to play with you up there! Rosy's waiting for you at the blue floor. What? mummy is planning an outing today? No, she's not going anywhere with you on that! Come dow first!

+11 514 - maybe influenced by her +9.5 snack? It was a chicken wing tip and a tsp of turkey so not much carbs.

Is the chicken wing tips a snack? I dont know, but I think it's too high in fat to give. Next time when you give, try to look out on that influence on Neko's bg.
