Switched today to 3.25 and will hold for 4 more cycles. Still high but slightly better. Test, feed and shoot within 15 min is doing better for his glucose then waiting 30 min after food to shoot. Nova Ketone Plus glucose + ketone meter arrived today. Ketones = 0.4. Vet called and all results are good except glucose (447 - taken on 5/14 at +3 at vet - AT was 429 - in range). No ketones. Celebrating the good news (less glucose but I take the win)

Since FSL 14 days sensor is good for trends but not the most accurate sometimes for BG - I took two tests for piece of mind today and the Libre was higher than both the AT and Nova :
FSL 374 - AT =286 (variance =88)
FSL 397 - Nova Plus (human) 308 (variance 89)

Tried to do a PMPS test with the Nova Plus human meter but did not get enough blood and left the kitty alone. Tomorrow is another day:)

Let's go Henry, let's bring those numbers down baby!

It gets easier with practice. His ears will also "learn" to bleed. There are some things you can do increase blood flow like warming the ear or massaging it. Sometimes you need to "milk" the ear after a poke to increase the size of the blood drop.
