Yesterday's condo

I just karate chopped my eliptical trying to shoo Rasta out from back there... OUCH! Zell is laying on me, surprisingly calm, normally he doesn't let me use my laptop when he lays on me like this (such a bully.......). Seems like Rasta is over it but Zell isn't letting it go... he is still intimidating him and chasing him all over. Ugh. :? :roll: Zell is dead asleep on me and Rasta is coming out because he needs to use the box, Zell somehow knows this and wakes up and glares at him from across the room (conflicted if he wants to leave me to chase him) so Rasta goes darting back under the sofa. So frustrating.

I am guessing this 300 is a bounce from a possible green last night. I meant to get up and check on him around his +6 but I forgot to set an alarm for it. I need to get better about that now, before getting up at that time will be necessary. He's been very talkative today. I woke up this morning to him drooling on me (ewwww). He is missing a canine and when he gets excited he drools from that one spot.

Its very windy out. My DH has to take a friend to a doctor's appointment today, so he's taking a lunch from work. We're going to use this as an opportunity to have a picnic in his car. :lol:

We are sending out lots of positive energy, prayers, and healing vines to all our kitty and bean friends today. I hope everyone has a great day!

hooray for the car picnic!!!

my new adoptees were a battle in getting along with my little exalted prince...
but i think we've turned the corner after almost a year...
(honestly...i hesitate to say this, but i think going OTJ has something to do with it...
less attention paid to the boy every hour on the hour)

Zell is a sweet cat but we think he is a control freak. We are taking it one day at a time. We are lucky that they don't completely *hate* each other and don't get into huge fights, but it bothers us to see Rasta stressed out and cowering (even though he provokes like 20% of it!!). Just placed an order for Feliway and going to place an order later for some Flower Essence type stuff.

Willy is such a sweetheart. I came home from my car picnic and he started rolling around on my shoes. This isn't really a huge deal but he isn't this active very often (and it's not even much)! Now he's sitting with me prrrrretending to be a motor boat. :lol: :lol: The goggie is checking Willy's feets for blood and is cleaning the one that I took his BG on.. Willy doesn't seem thrilled but also doesn't seem to mind. This morning Willy came up to bed with me and was laying with me. I sleep with a stuffed monster looking thing (ugly doll) and he took its place and just snuggled and cuddled. Love my snorlax teddy bear kitty!

I have a question~

Does anyone here give Vit E or Fish/Salmon Oil to their kitties (or any other vitamins)? If so how much and how often? Does Fish/Salmon oil have an impact on BG?

I have been giving a tiny bit (literally like a drop) of Vit E maybe once or twice a week because I couldn't find information about it online and I didn't want to overdo it (wasn't sure if it was soluable or not) but it's really really seeming to help his coat. He still has dry skin but it's not nearly as bad. He's also much much softer, huge improvement. I would like to be able to give something to all my cats but specifically Willy (for his coat) and Rasta (for his age). If I can give it to my goggie that would be nice too.

It doesn't seem to mess with her BG. That would just be me... :lol:

Gah! I just lost my post!

Yeah, :lol: lol :lol: , we shoot later! We have been talking about moving it up (slowly) lately, but we haven't quite decided yet.

We are supposed to be going to Scottsdale soon (this weekend or early next week) to help the MIL move things from storage (6 UNITS WTH) into storage containers but UGH!! We just got back from an emergency trip! Willy travels well but I feel really bad moving him around so much, especially since we're just starting to hit a really good groove. Unfortunately, we haven't found anyone in Flag that we trust to watch him. Our friend's are amazing but they are not the most punctual or diligent people in the world and the vet techs charge a lot of money (more than what it would cost to rent a room so he can come) to come by and do everything for him (and by extension, the other cats since they Willy needs to be fed separately)... and he would get even less attention in boarding... :? :? We briefly discussed commuting it but there is still the issue of checking on him midday.

Haha yeah, the car picnic was awesome :lol: :lol: Damien had to take a lunch to take his friend to a doctor's appointment (normally he woulda been home like an hour later too) so I made salads and peanut butter and nutella sammiches with a big thing of iced tea... cos that's how WE roll! Just got home from seeing Thor! Amazing!

Thank Marjorie! That's what I am looking for! Do you know if it would be safe for a goggie? (He is smaller than my cats lol) or would it be better to just find something else for him? I couldn't find that specific info on their site (which doesn't seem to play nice with Firefox, so it may be my bad)
