I'm waiting to get to +12. I'm sorry I don't have more data, we're still very new to doing this. Getting better, but not completely on the ball with the routine or completely physically able to get as many tests as I'd like.

The good news is that I saw Winny walk all the way from the dining room across the living room to the stairway on his toes this morning. Could not believe my eyes. He's been a bit slidey this evening, but I've been hearing his claws tapping on the floor sometimes today when he walks rather than the soft thud of his hocks. So, I am very encouraged this evening, just have no idea what to do about the dose that's due very soon.

Do you have any flexibility with shot time in the morning?

Also, you MUST start to get PM tests. Many cats experience lower numbers in the night hours. If you shoot tonight, you will need to get at the bare minimum, a +1 and +2 test.

If Winny is having issues with neuropathy, you may want to get Zobaline -- it's methyl B-12 that's formulated specifically for diabetic cats.

Seconding the recommendation for the Zobaline. My Boo doesn't have neuropathy, but it's given him an extra boost of energy!

okay, thanks. +12 is going to be on the half hour.

I need to somehow move his shots to 2 hours earlier than where we are right now bc this is too late at night for me to do a +2 regularly. I take sleep meds (recent back surgery) so staying up wreaks havoc.

Nice job with shooting. Tonight shows you how much numbers can change in an hour.

Is there any way you can move your shot times to earlier? You can shift time either by 15 min. at each shot time or 30 min. once a day.

Yes, I can move them earlier. I'll try half an hour earlier tomorrow morning and try to ease us around to a better time.
