Tessa is starting to get used to being tested more often. She was hiding a bit yesterday and I ended up closing off the bedroom and blocking the top platform of the cat tree so she couldn't get away from me easily. She seems more relaxed now so I'll try leaving the door open and unblock the platform. I'm probably only going to test every 3 hours today unless things look bad at some point in her cycle.

My cat comes to me when he hears the beep of the glucose meter...he knows what's happening and is obliging, poor boy. What helped us was giving a little treat each time and lots of love/affection.

I think her routine is still a little off from her recent dental. We were feeding her out of a different bowl in a different room at different times and she got used to that and is probably a little confused and stressed that we're changing things again. I'm sure she'll get back in the swing of things soon enough. She just needs some time to acclimate again.
