I don't know how often I'll be on for the next week or more. Just received news that my ex DIL was killed in an altercation with police. My son is devastated and I don't know what's going to be happening in the near future.
Your prayers and thoughts would be appreciated for him. Thanks ya'll. :cry:

Thank you ladies.
I wish I could stop crying, the inside of my eyelids feel like sandpaper. It's going to take a long time to heal, even more for my son. Although they split 6 months ago, he still loved her, just couldn't take it any more. Being with someone with severe mental illness is so destructive to the ones that keep trying to protect them from themselves and he did it for over 16 yrs, until he couldn't do it any more. Unfortunately, he is carrying so much guilt because of it now. I'm praying he'll be able to overcome it eventually.
