Good morning World! Welcome to our Home! Yesterday

KT - Shucks, he's playin' in the mustard today - sure hope he decides to clean himself by taking a dip in the blue lagoon! He's feeling well and enjoying the sun streaming in the windows again this morning.

Schniggles - I've got ads and signs up in several places, got a call from a lady that wanted to adopt her if no one claims her. We had her come over to visit yesterday afternoon late but there was just something 'wrong' about it. I talked to her on the phone then here in person - during that time, she told me two different stories about the same occurance. She has male Boston Terriers and we figured out she was REALLY wanting a female to breed her males. NO WAY was this girl going to her - this baby now isn't going anywhere. The initial story was she'd just lost her dog and wanted an older dog to snuggle and love. She represented it as going to be her only dog. As I let her ramble, the other animals began coming out...then "I live in an area where people dump dogs". WHY then was she looking for another? Nope...something was just not right. We don't plan to rehome her unless this had been an older couple needing a single sweetie and I could CHECK OUT that the story's right. After this, nope, she ain't goin' anywhere....too many bad people in the world - she's had enough of bad.

My garden!! Oh it's just growing like crazy! I got my first HARVEST yesterday - my first cucumber! Wait, I've already harvested several bunches of parsley so guess it wasn't the very first. I have probably 50 tomatoes on my 4 plants - the largest ones are about golf ball size. My okra finally has bloom buds on it - I'll have pickled okra soon IF the ants or Miss Turtle don't beat me to them...

I haven't done a photobucket in a couple of weeks! Today I'm posting another shot of my hydrangea's HUGE blooms. Altho' this was in the past, they're all starting to bloom this year. This is the whole bed of them:

Thoughts and prayers today for all needing them...especially Claudia/Rocket, Steph/Misha and our new sugar babies.

BIG HUGE HUG!!!!

Beautiful garden and flowers. I don't blame you on Schniggles; that lady wasn't a good fit and you saw thru her right away. I hope Schniggles can stay with you if an Owner doesn't come forth.

Wow Lyresa, you've got a very beautiful garden! And vegetables too? How wonderful to have home grown vege!
Schniggles is so lucky to have met you! Yes, a lot of suspicious ppl asking to adopt. In HK, before a kitty got adopted, we ask for the permission for home visit(inspection in fact). Too many cruel people took them in & hurt them. Better be extra careful.
Have a nice day!
And, KT, you come down from that mustard, your mummy got beautiful blue flowers in the garden.

Come on down KT! Sunny yellow isn't bad but blue is better!

Sounds like Schniggles found a forever home. :-D Right where she belongs. You are such a great person being so careful about adopting them out.

Beautiful hydrangea blooms. I thought that was this year and was going to be jealous. Mine are just starting to bloom here.

Hope you have a wonderful day Lyresa!
