Day 3 on 3.25 U Lantus dose, (TR) Today Ivy dipped lower (for her) at AMPS, feeding and shot time.
This am she dipped to around 95 on Libre 3 then bounced up to around 277 +4.5, still rising/bouncing from lower am #s.
(One week ago she did same AMPS drop, adjusting to new increased dose on day 2 of dose)
She seems to take a few days on increased new dose, NDW??, to adapt to a new dose, surfs high into 300's.
**Note: Her prior Libre 3 sensor ended at feeding/shot time this am.
Activated new sensor and new readings are in line with the lower BG's of prior (ending) sensor (did not cross check with handheld, since she didn't go into dangerous low numbers/limes).
(BG DATA WAS UNAVAILABLE on Libre from shot time until +1.5, so not sure how low she went)
?? Question: Since she takes a bit of time (1-2 days) to adjust to each dose increase, do I wait till day 4 or so to increase dose?
My concern is she tends to drop lower for her at AMPS after a few days of a new dose increase with threats of lime green low numbers.
@Bandit's Mom I saw your advice to increase her dose in my post from yesterday (link above), but that was before this am when she finally worked this dose a bit. Any ideas based on this current dose/ activity this morning and an increase?
