Well, Attie is on the hook this morning for toppling the katnip drying stand.

Sent the big orange mischief maker.... bcatrun_gif .

Both MudCat and Atlas have been testing the spring cutting of the katnip. The spring cutting tends to be more concentrated in catnip oils. I don't always get a spring cutting unless there is a bumper crop of 'nip on the property. The 'nip can generally stand a spring cutting and still produce blossoms & seed for the summer. Cutting early can cause the plant to branch out as well creating more leaves, but the 'nip oils will not be as strong. Once the 'nip goes to blossom like many plants, the energy concentration moves to reproduction and again the oils are not as concentrated.

Thanks for the tip on catnip Beth. I guess I should go trim the catnip in my hanging pot for drying.

Attie - maybe all that katnip energy will bring your numbers down where they should be.

Attie, you rascal. Does catnip help bring down your BG? Love the pic, definitely a great expression in Tilei's face. :-D
