his back up on the top floor again with an amps of 313. i went ahead and shot him on the regular schedule at 7am, which is actually at +11 because we were late last night. i need to leave tonight at 7pm, before the 12 hours would've been up, so i went ahead.

seems happy - cheered me on while i got his food ready, feisty and moving while i tried to shoot him, scouring the bowl for every drop of food and bath has now commenced. all is good in punkin's world.

got our youngest daughter moved back home, son graduated yesterday - today is our "lull" day. tomorrow she gets her wisdom teeth out.

Good morning, Glad to hear all is well in Punkin land.. Here's to coming down in to some pretty yellows and maybe even blues today..

'Morning Julie. Glad Punkin feels fine, even with his being up on the pink floor. It's not a high pink, so he'll be coming down to nice pretty yellow soon.
You also have a moving target at shot time? :lol: Sometimes, I'm practically laying on top of Checks, 'cause he just want to get at the after-shot/test, treat. :-D

I'm sorry your DD's got to deal with wisdom teeth removal. It's hard for the mom, to see the kids, (fur and skin), hurting.

Oh Julie, you just said out loud what I've been thinking since I found out about Tommy. I think I don't want to know anything new yet. I'm not yet ready to deal with anything other than what I already have on my plate. Plus, I'm only 1.5 months into this so I don't know if I even need to start thinking like that. I'm going to be an ostrich for a little bit longer...head in the sand.

Morning guys! Sorry for the pink this morning. Punkin is clearing that already: YAY! He sure has been sporting good numbers lately. I can't really advise on the acro test, but if there is a reason for concern, then why not? At least it would eliminate a worry for you, or confirm a suspicion, at least you'd know for sure?

Sounds like busy days for you. Congrats to your son, bummer for your daughter and her wisdom teeth. I hope that goes well.

You've had an exciting time lately! Congrats again on your son's graduation. I'm sorry about your daughter's teefs. I hope the removals goes well for her.

I agree with Michelle... acro test wouldn't hurt and it would make you feel better to know.... but I had taken Patty's approach to Willy. Until recently, I couldn't handle even the thought of dealing with anything else so I avoided a lot. I am glad I am finally dealing with it all! It has been super draining (emotionally and mentally) but very very rewarding. :-D

Hi, it looks like Punkin is coming down. Nice your daughter is graduated and home, but ouchie on the wisdom teeth. If you suspect Acro, I can understand your wanting the test. Have a nice day.

i don't really want it, but i guess i'd like to know. i keep looking at him wondering if his face is big, or his feet or big. i mean, he's a 14 pound cat - he just IS big, but it's not like he's gotten any bigger. in fact at his peak he weighed 17 pounds, probably 4 or 5 years ago.

i would just like to know why he's in need of 7+ units of insulin - i thought once his teeth were better he might go down, then once the infection was cleared up he might go down, but here we are. still in the 14u/day range. so . . .

on the other hand, seems to me like he responds well to the insulin and he's hit low numbers several times and it's not a problem to pull him up. he had the 3 days of surfing greens and did fine with that. a conundrum when you only know as much as i know.

Julie: glad to see Punkin came down today...BLUE!! maybe green tonight!!!

I don't know anything about acro however someone in another forum in FDMB PMd me once, said he had looked at Gracie's SS, and wondered if she might be acro. Getting a sk1u? Uh...don't think so!!! Even still, it freaked me out so I "talked" it over with Jill and Libby...they laughed....God bless them!!!
