Checkers ate good FF breffis. Unfortunately, he twisted, just as I went to inject, and I ended up with a bent needle, and could see insulin still in syringe. I don't know if he got even a drop. :sad:

My DD is coming to spend the day, so Checkers will be all over her, making it his duty to be sure she smells like him, when she leaves. :lol:

Or.....he can spend the day on my new mattress. WooHoo! :-D

oh bummer on the shot. well dang it Checks, no more twisting. ;-) oh well, he will recover from that soon enough.

Very cool on your DD's visit. I love it when kitties are social with others in the house. it so reminds me of Mannie - that was his mission too! All should smell like he did. Well done Checks!

oh cool! You got a new mattress! I hope you like it, and that it works well for you. I remember you have had issues with all of that in the past. Good luck!

Enjoy your day today too. I hope it is good, and it sounds like it will be. :-D

Got his pill in with a tiny ball of cheese, didn't even need the kibble today. Yay! :-D

Susan's not coming until late afternoon, so he will have a relaxing day, and I can get some mowing done. :smile:

Hey that isn't bad for a FS and hopefully you got some in him, Barb.

I hope you enjoy Susan's visit...and Checks does, too....but don't wear yourself out mowing. I'm telling you...if you move to AZ with your kitties....no mowing and you can love on the little brown girl ;-)

What mattress did you wind up with? I know you were looking for something without memory foam.

Enjoy your visit and I hope Checkers got a bit of that insulin. If not, there's always more coming the next cycle....

Mike said he would love to fly to get you but only at an airport. He's not too keen on spending time in prison for inexplicably landing a commercial airliner on private property :lol: :lol:

Our neighbor has a very lovely guest house ;-) plenty of room for you and the boys!

Hi Barb, looks like you did get some juice in Checkers. Great with the pill and no kibble. I'm still using the pp hide pill and them squeeze it against a Temptation, and so far so good. Mags would love cheese, but wonder if a smidgeon would constipate her.
I was wondering, too, what kind of Mattress. I need to look for a computer chair. Have a nice time with DD. Scritches to Checkers, civvies and your parakeet, forgive me for forgetting their names.

He has asked for snacks several times today and had 'almost' diarrhea again today. I was blaming the AB last week.
He doesn't normally ask for food. :YMSIGH:

Ijust gave him a little snack that will probably raise his bg, but I wanted something saucy to soak up the fortiflora.

I got some mowing done, but was driven in by the wind. It was blowing grass in my eyes, and sticking it to my sunscreened face.
Neighbors picked the windiest day of the year to burn trash..which is against the law in this town anyway.*shakes head*

Darn my fear of flying....coulda had a nice vacation and maybe snuck home, a little brown striped kitty. :-D

I bought a Simmons Beautyrest Recharge Plush. It's got aircooled memory foam, and gel foam, and airpockets....stuff they claim keeps the body cool. We'll see. :roll:
Gonna try to sneak in a nap before Susan gets here. :-D

Yep, looks like Checks got at least a little juice. I'm glad he's asking for snacks! Hopefully the poo will firm up soon. Have fun with DD!!

This is basically how my iComfort is, which really does help! Did it arrive yet! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited that you will get a comfy rest and feel better in the morning!!!

That sounds like a high-tech mattress! Here's to good sound sleeping from now on!

Checkers, you're gonna love the new mattress. No more aches and pains!

Amazing that your neighbors are burning trash. That is so dangerous in these high winds. The whole state is under a burn ban until further notice.

Have a good evening and a good sleep on the new mattress. (It may take some getting used to!)

Checkers, no twisting and turning when your bean wants to put in the good joos! Sorry about that PMPS, but looks like he's letting you get a good nights sleep on the new mattress. I've been watching the info on your condos about mattresses. I need a new one for the guest bedroom and I do my sleep/testing there so as to not disturb DH, but we REALLY need a new bed there.

Hope your weather improves soon.

John, I bought a Simmons Beauty Rest Plush. It feels Heavenly. I dozed off, watching tv, with a kitty smooshed up next to me this afternoon.
Susan did too much running around today, and was too tired to come here, so we'll try again tomorrow.

Pmps wasn't as high as I expected. He had pain and needed bupe twice today.
He also had higher carb food, than usual, to make the fortiflora easier to eat.....twice.
