@Sharon14

Ravan is off his food since this morning. He had a spoon of Raw liver this morning but nothing else. (I know it's not good to give him too much.) He's also lethargic. Just wants to sleep. When I put him outside he eats grass.

Which usually means he's nauseated. I'm thinking it's from his Bg going up & down ? I am concerned.

My congestion is slowly clearing from the inhaler & antibiotic & I could use a week of sleep other than that I'm hanging in there.

That sounds similar to the symptoms Raven had when you joined. Hope he feels better soon. As for you, I’m glad you’re slowly getting better, but get some rest!:)

@Sharon14
Ravan just vomited clear mucus with white foam. He still won't eat.
His BG is dropping. If it goes too low i might have a problem with food.
( I want to be prepared so i know what to do ) It's stressful waiting an hour in front of the computer for an answer when you're in Panic mode

@Sharon14

No Slippery Elm always works (so far). I don't understand why he's nauseous. Ravan hardly ever vomits.
I thought Honey is only temporary. That you need to get food into them if BG goes too low?

I don't expect him to drop that low tonight but with Ravan i never know. I rather be prepared.

I remember now( it seems like such a long time ago!) when we started Ravan was nauseated a lot. I thought it was from the insulin.

Yes I have syringe fed him but now that he vomited I'm worried he might vomit if i need to syringe feed.

@Sharon14
Sorry I must not be making myself clear. I haven't felt the need to syringe feed. I was asking so "If he drops low tonight " I'll know what to do.
I don't consider 165 too low I'm referring to if he were to drop below 50.

Good news. Ravan ate a spoon full of raw meat. He must be feeling better.

It wasn't just that he wasn't eating, he was nauseated. He vomited . That's what had me worried.

His bg at +7 was 155 so he's going down slowly. But now that he ate something it might go up a bit before shot time.

Thank you both for checking in with me today.

Sharon, I'm the one that confused you! I get too carried away anticipating what might happen!

I always appreciate your help.
