Good evening everyone.

Well, Zekey apparently still has an upset tummy. We thought the diarrhea had cleared up but no. I gave him some more tesi clay this afternoon.
Okay, so I cracked. I was a little disappointed with Zeke's AMBG so I ended up testing him a few hours later. Boy, was that ever a MISTAKE. His BG pretty much remained flat (that second reading). We had a contractor come by this morning so I chalked up the "no drop" to Zeke perhaps having spiked a little from the visit. I fed Zeke a little more and a few hours later I tested him again. HOLY, MOLY!!! What the HECK!!! It was up to 150. I tried not to get too concerned but frankly I couldn't come up with a logical explanation except for one. So, I started to fret that perhaps the extra food and touch of 4% I'd given him last night had "done in" his pancreas. You can only imagine how relieved and thrilled I was with his PMBG. I even took a test with the Alpha Trak. It read 101.
If I had stuck to just the two tests per day I never would have known what had happened with his BG today. That'll learn me. I shall try to stick to the two tests only (but I wouldn't put money on it).
Well, hope you all have a great evening.
